Their Gone!!! Chicks Died :( :(

Today on day 27. I open the eggs last 5 eggs out of 7...
When i open the 1st eggs there was nothing it didnt develope...

then the 2nd eggs was the same..

But then i open the 3rd egg and there was a chick that had the wings the eyes the legs everthing.... But it must have had a late death!!

The same with the 4th and 5th...

I think the humidity went wrong.. soo im going to buy a hyrometer and start this whole thing all over again...

Hopefully ther will be a better result next time!!

Wow, I'm sorry you lost your eggs.

I lost my last batch including a peacock egg. For some unkown reason the incubator shot up over 104. I'm using it again so I'm not counting my eggs until they hatch......


I hope you have better luck with the hydrometer.

Awww I taught for my first turn they might just give me a bit of luck and maybe 2 or 3 might hatch...haha

sorry you lost your chicks. i did the exact same thing today. lost 9. three days ago they lived. i am going to try again but its going to take some time to gather a few eggs. sigh

I hate when they die to close to hatch. I don't know why it should make a difference, but it does.
