I just realized today that the egg turner wasn't plugged in. Wow. It's been about 4 days since I set them. Was checking the temp & RH fastidiously, but...duh....didn't have the turner on.

So, should I not process this batch? Kinda hate to wait the whole incubation period if, theoretically, they're not going to hatch anyway.

What would you do? (Besides not be so air brained.)

Actually you are probably OK. At the 5 day mark, the embryo has little development yet and mostly the blood veins are forming. But any longer and you might have run into trouble.

I think all will be well. Get the turner running and you should see a normal hatch. Good luck!

Oh, whew! Glad to hear I have a chance. I have 120 in there...sure hated to wreck the whole batch.

I second twocrowsranch, I think some people don't even start their turner until day 3! Read it somewhere. Good luck!
