I just recently got my first chickens. I have 2 beautiful Ameraucanas named Skipipi (Lakota for Chickadee) and Nugget. I have recently been battling health problems that made me homebound and what better source of entertainment than chickens?! My friends say I have a little petting zoo with 3 dogs, a cat, a turtle, now two chickens. Skipi and Nugget are still too young to lay eggs but it is so much fun watching them right now growing up and discovering the world. I can't wait for the other adventures these two bring my way!
