therapy duck!

one of my ducks is very friendly and my mom gave me this great idea, he could become a therapy duck and visit nursing homes and hospitals! just like a dog! would that be possible and would i need a registration for that? and how would i get him registered?

Don't know where you are located, but there is the Animal Rescue League of Iowa and they have Webster, the therapy drake:

Now may be the time to do some research on this but you will not be visiting nursing homes anytime soon. All ducks are therapy ducks. I love just watching ours or feeding them treats after a long day of work.
