we were slick little kids... we each had 2 costumes. so we would go out in the afternoon in one costume, come back loaded with candy, eat supper, change costumes and go back to the best houses again, and spread out a little further to houses we hadn't gotten to in the afternoon... so much fun!

I really wanted a Wooden Wonder Hobbit Hole for a chicken coop.... maybe someday, but I built a nice dome for my babes in the meantime... it is by far one of my favorite places to be.

The High Windmill pasture on the ranch that my family settled 156 years ago. One top of a big hill is a working windmill. The pasture itself is gorgeous. I wish I could wake up there every morning.
