My fly tyers special from McMurray arrive today. All healthy and bee bopping around. Here are some pics. Any guesses on what I ended up getting?

Fly tyers?

What's that?

I wanted to ask the same question about fly tyers... I know its something to do with fishing...but what exactly is it?

Fly Tyer's feathers are used in fly fishing . you attach tiny feathers to fly bait to attract fish. i prefer to use barred rock feathers. Cute Partidge Rocks chicks by the way:)

In fly fishing you use feathers (and a few other materials) tied on to a hook to create imitations of the food that the area fish eat. This package of chickens have the style and variaty of feathers you can use for basic fly tying.
