Also, don't mispronounce tortilla or quesadilla as "tor-till-ah" or "kay-sah-dill-ah".

That is a sentence from hell for me to pronouncein reality it's probably closest to "keh sa dee ya". but it's super regional and dependent on the parent language on top of it. Someone speaking Mexican Spanish and someone speaking Honduran Spanish say it slightly differently because of how the inflections change between the parent tongues. English works the same way. "Park the car in Harvard Yard" from someone in the south sounds totally different from someone in Boston.
That is just a cheap button off a sweater from the five and dimeI'm glad I identified that right.
You got the five right. That is just a cheap button off a sweater from the five and dime

I know it’s not quite that bad yet. Almost 30 yrs ago I had the opportunity to drive from McAllen, TX all the way through Mexico & then into Belize down to Punta Gorda. I learned very well about the Peso. Although being born in south TX myself I had some previous knowledge. It’s best I not really explain myself or I will surely be given 50 lashes by the hurt feelings police. I already have a bad reputation.I could just pretend that my sis doesn’t live near the border and that I don’t know or work with a bunch of Hispanic people.
They’d laugh too.
