I didn't say everyone would love where they lived. And if you live there, you can make all the comments you want, you have that right. Come winter, you'll hear me cussing about Ohio for months. But for someone who has never been to a state, to make comments about why that state sucks to live in it, I just find it rude
Same here. My Aunt does go on and on about Ohio and how she hates it. She lives there. I said the word "snow" and she acted like I'd pulled a venomous snake out and plopped it on her burger.

We have a family friend and if you say the word California near her the poo talking never stops.

I feel like somewhere deep down inside we're all so broken that it's now just a part of humanity to hate on things we don't like or understand or agree with. It's always been there in at least some way, but I kinda feel like post WW2 it's gotten worse on exponential leaps and bounds. Couple that with the fact that everyone lost their filters during covid, and humanity's all just haters now.

Sucks. Everything is polarized and binary, and we're all losing out as a result.
