There is so many kinds of chickens- is there one that is different that you would like to try?

I'm still waiting to get a Sicilian Buttercup, hubby really wants one because he likes the little crown shaped comb.

For me, probably an Olive Egger as we don't have any green eggs, and I like opening the fridge and seeing a variety of colored eggs.

I would have gotten barnevelders, Sicilian buttercup, lavender orpingtons, cream legbars, appenzeller spitzhaubens, silver grey dorkings, splash marans, dark and light brahmas, and some black ameracaunas. I also really wanted some mille fleur d'uccle bantams. That's a lot of chickens 😂 sorry. I thought they were all gorgeous. Of course I would also have to get 2 more coops. I get a bit carried away, sorry about that. :lau

I just got 4 Americanas, 3 Pearl Star Leghorns, 1 Back Australorp and 3 Isa Browns! They will be fantastic layers and really pretty birds.
Dream chickens include - Black Coopers Marans and Iowa Blues.

You forgot the Chanteclers, so maybe you aren't on the Cackle site? And how about French Marans, with those nice dark eggs? And Speckled Sussex, a personal favorite?
SO MANY CHOICES!
Mary
Agree on the Chanteclers. I've also been happy with the egg color from our Cackle cuckoo and wheaten Marans.
