This is a good day, I went out to feed my chickens and to spoil them a little, and there sitting next to the coop door was a cochin hen untouched, just cold and wet because it snowed last night. She seems to be doing good, all of them are eating even the injured one. I put Avian 2000 in their water to help them overcome the shock. I don't know if there is any hope of my Roo and Easter Egger, but my Roo gave his life for his ladies. He is pictured as my aviator. Now I need to find another Cochin Roo for my Cochin ladies, they are such sweet birds, gentle and personal.[IMG]

What a handsome little guy! I just started last year raising chickens and was contemplating adding cochins to the batch. After seeing your picture and hearing your comments on them, I am definately going to get some. [IMG] Sorry to hear about your chickens. That's just awful! I'm glad to hear the remaining ones are doing well. Hopefully you won't have any other predator problems.
