This is a good day, I went out to feed my chickens and to spoil them a little, and there sitting next to the coop door was a cochin hen untouched, just cold and wet because it snowed last night. She seems to be doing good, all of them are eating even the injured one. I put Avian 2000 in their water to help them overcome the shock. I don't know if there is any hope of my Roo and Easter Egger, but my Roo gave his life for his ladies. He is pictured as my aviator. Now I need to find another Cochin Roo for my Cochin ladies, they are such sweet birds, gentle and personal.
What a handsome little guy! I just started last year raising chickens and was contemplating adding cochins to the batch. After seeing your picture and hearing your comments on them, I am definately going to get some.
Sorry to hear about your chickens. That's just awful! I'm glad to hear the remaining ones are doing well. Hopefully you won't have any other predator problems.
