Guess what everyone yes, it happended at 5 in the morning gotta go some where at 7 no sleep!. But im so happy and this guys not tired at all hes got all sorts of energy!. He won't stop chirping enless im by the window and im sooo tired the other one hasnt hatched yet but it's alive and made progress and one hasn't even piped yet but I know its alive (Just to make sure I candeled it.) So, I have one out, one still crack the shell, and another one that hasnt piped yet. It's gonna be A LONG DAY! LOL

Here it is just comin out chirping it's little heart of I love em!

What do i do after they have hatched can i put them in the brooder ? :|

Yea! I just had my first egg hatch at about 6:00 this morning too. It was great. I am still waiting for my other one to hatch also. I have my chick still in the bator drying off. That's what I was told to do, leave them until they are fully dry. Congrats on the hatch!

I have anouther egg in there ang my two chicks are hacthed and they keeping hittting the third egg!. And I know some one told me the egg is trying to orientat itself right now but they just keep hitting!. This is why I asked and the 3rd egg is alive and waiting for it to pip soon!. Oh by the way the second chick looks just like the first chick.

Can you tell me how long the process takes? I have an araucana egg that is going to start any minute. This is the first time i have ever done this. I have some in an incubator, but this one was under a hen for 21 days and a friend gave it to me to put in with my others. Most of his hatched already so this should go anytime and i wonder how long it will take.
