Here is our smooth operator, his name is Lucky as all of his other flock mates were taken by hawks over winter. Thankfully he is big enough now that will never be an issue again.

I am sure we must have a few more of Lucky. I'll try to get some snaps of him later. He has a decent comb actually the only silkie we have with a decent one. We have a few frizzle hens as well so I hesitate to incubate eggs now because I don't want to risk it with frazzles. The silkies all free range through the day so it is always a surprise when you find an egg and attributing it to a specific hen is problematic for us.
