I wanted to try Nutrena laying crumbles for my birds and Cactus Feeds on Gilbert and Ray has it. They've got other stuff too. I haven't had any experience with Nutrena, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm half-way through a bag of the Wal-Mart layer formula...the girls seem to like it, but they eat TONS of it and poop a lot more without any noticable change in laying or growth. I hope the Nutrena is better. Anybody have any experience with Nutrena Products? They were a sponsor for the 'Tour de Coops' last week, so that's how I found out about them.
I promised they girl at Cactus that I'd let everyone know that they have some Ameracaunas and RI Reds. They're 4 and 5 weeks old respectively. I looked at them and they seemed pretty healthy and spry. I don't work for Cactus or anything, they just seemed nice and they girl there said that if she didn't sell them, she was going to have to take them home (she's got about 35 birds now, crowded place!).
Anyhow, stop by and say hi. There, I did a good turn for a neighbor and now I feel good!
