There's an Ostrich in my Coop

OMG-we went out to the coop yesterday and found this huge green egg. Yup-double yolker. I feel bad for the poor chicken that laid this. It was our first double yolker.

Consequently the first 3 eggs that this chicken laid were pale pink-then she started laying green-blue eggs. Weird. I wouldn't believe it but saw her lay both colors. I've got my own easter egg basket.

Thanks so much-it doesn't always connect the first time for some reason. Blogger has been having difficulty-I have to hit refresh several times or you can just copy and paste into your browser.

also 3 kids, 6 chickens (until the next order comes in), 2 guinea pigs, 2 dogs, 3 cats and koi pond full of fish.
