We are incubating two Welsh Harlequin eggs and with 16 days left until hatch, I peeked in with a light scope and saw movement in both eggs!

I am so darn excited!!!!!! I read you could see movement, but witnessing it just took me by surprise. I just had to share the news! I am very excited and nervous about hatch day approaching. This is the first time I have incubated anything (other than my own children....lol.)

It is sooooo exciting isn't it!!! I saw my first movement to not to long ago! I had done chicken eggs before but had not seen anything like that till I did ducks!!!

Yes, it is exciting and reassuring as I only have two eggs in the incubator. I just hope now I have two girls. If I do get a male, I have a very friendly farmer who will take him under his wing (pun intended!) and he will live a long happy life on the farm (where I got his parents from.) But I would really like a couple more females. Just anticipating hatch day.......
