There's no way these are all RIR Pullets

The feed store orders them on request. I requested RIR's. It's cheaper than ordering my own when I only wanted a few for this particular flock. Your post was not helpful. It was just rude and being "My chickens are better than your chickens because mine came from a breeder". Most who see them would say RIR in a heartbeat - few would nitpick about the quality of what RIR that is. I wasn't asking about them for that reason.

I was told my D'uccles looked like columbian crosses on here too when I wasn't asking. They weren't according to the local 4h and shows here

So.. yeah.

That was in no way "my chickens are better than your chickens" I don't even have RIR's and most of MY chickens ARE from a hatchery. I assumed you didn't know the difference as you will NOT get a big meaty bird from a hatchery, and I assumed you WERE looking for good meaty RIR's. I was simply trying to explain the difference. Sorry. Good day to you.

I have a flock like this which includes EE's. Mine are fair layers but not great, and are perfectly good DP eating birds, or at least we thought so.

Hmm, ideals or some other hatchery I could look into in the future? The EEs I got from ideal were both hugely feathered with barely any substance underneath. They also laid eggs like clockwork unless a bear came through spooking them then they'd stop for a day or two then go again. I wound up selling the rest of them to buy groceries XD At least in my area they are worth quite a bit alive and laying - got $15 a bird. I just highly doubt this one would lay for me since my gut tells me he's a rooster.
