Thermometer Placement?

I just set my eggs. I have them in a still air incubator, and I hand turn. I'm using a digital thermometer. Where is the best place to put the thermometer to get the most accurate temperature?

I inserted the probe inside a water weasel which lies on the mesh, right alongside the eggs.

If you are not using the waterweasel method, it's usually suggested to place the thermometer at the same height as the top of the eggs (some just lay it on top of the eggs.)
