Thermometer question ?

I did a hatch with some orp eggs as some might know. And it went terriblie wrong. I think they had a hard time in the post as they did get lost for 5 days. I also believe that the temp was too low. I put in a second thermometer and it read a little higher. I went to shops and bought a medical digital thermometer.
My question is has anyone used one before. I put it into the bator as I am getting ready to do another hatch. Now I know where I went wrong. And it did a reading which was different again, but I thought it might be more accurate. Any info welcomed

I would recommend a thermometer that is designed for incubators those new digital ones are kind of a pain. I just ordered a new brinsea thermometer online for 10.00 it is much easier to read and use.

Thankyou Mulia24 that thread was helpful. And thanks to Dani2 too. I will have a look on ebay and see if I can get a Brinsea one also.
