What kind of a thermometer will need to regulate/monitor heat? Do I just put it on the floor of the brooder for most accurate readings?
Advice appreciated...
Thanks,
Steve

I've got a hovabator and use the thermometer that came with it, a thin glass one mounted on a piece of plastic. I put it on top of the eggs and that seems to work I also use a humidity and temp digital thermometer I got at WallyWorld, and the temps are always different, I use it just for humidity. GOOD LUCK!

I would stay away from the ones that don't tell temperature.
