So I bought at $16 accutemp indoor/outdoor digital thermometer and hygrometer from lowes. Even after calibrating the hygrometer it appears to be very very wrong. So I got the cheapo non digital thermometer and hygrometer from petco. The hygrometer was spot on when calibrated and I'm assuming the thermometer is too. Which means I'm incubating my eggs at 102 at the lowest point which means higher at the top of eggs especially the ones in the carton (still air) and 60% humidity. I hope I didn't ruin this batch! So mad at the accutemp.

Not necessarily....I have one of those Springfield $6 combos from Walmart. I calibrated the hygrometer and it was spot on. However the temp is several degrees off any of the other 4 thermometers I already had.

Finger crossed for your hatch

I'm done with digital hygrometers, i've tried 3 and all have been way off, like by 15% or more.

I now have the petco one as well. Calibrated to 71%

my petco one calibrated to 76% as well... i hear nothing but good stuff about the hygrometers from cigar shops... i might get one of they as a back up later on...
