Thermostat for DIY incubators

i seem to be with the other crowd, i hate a wafer stat, you have to put in two to get a "tight" range, that $40, you can get a digital line voltage thermostat with .5 differ for that and set in and forget it

Like somebody said, they've worked fine in incubators for a hundred years. Even before electric incubators they were used to control the flame in coal or kerosene heated incubators.
