thermostat type

what is your favorite thermostat type?? digital... wafer.. ?

I'm having troubles with my old (20 years of hatching but it has always been fussy) and new little giant digital( very inconsistent ) and thinking of going to a table top that has a wafer type thermostat. i had an old sears farm master in the 80's and it never failed.

Does the little giant have a fan that moves air in it? I think that is the main thing in any incuabator. I would think a digital thermostat would be very consistant, more so than a wafer. Wafer has been around for a long time and there is not much to break on it.
