If you have a Little Giant Incubator and you are as disappointed with your hatches as I was, I can lead you through some modifications to make it better.
I have other high end incubators but I wanted to incubate even more eggs, so I found some ways to make my Little Giant not only work but work great!

#1. I put a towel under the incubator. It helps to not have the temperature of the table or counter etc. messing up the incubators temperature.

#2. I took out the auto turner. I don't know why but it seems to make everything not work leaving it in, so take it out. I lined the bottom with paper towels. I mark the eggs D -day and N -night. I turn the eggs twice a day at the same time give or take.

#3. I put a plug in separate fan to move the air around better and to keep the temperature more consistent.

#4. I have a calibrated separate thermometer/ hygrometer that I go by. I do NOT ever go by the machines readings. The hygrometer works the first hatch, and then never again in Little Giants. The thermometer readings in Little Giant drive me crazy because it's constantly changing.

#5. I have the largest jar that will fit in the incubator full of water, I have a little piece of sponge in mine.

My jar is the one whole mushrooms come in. When you add water once or twice a day to the jar make sure the water is nice and warm. Do NOT fill any "channels" up with water, only the jar.

#6. Their are a lot of air holes in the lid of this incubator, so I don't take out any plugs until lockdown and then I take out one.

I keep my temperature at 100'F, and my humidity runs around 20-35% with the jar water.
I'm getting awesome hatches now, and I'm glad I didn't throw this incubator away.

I hope this will help someone. :)
