thermostate wafers?

Hi all I'm still haveing problems with my bator fluctuating I tried to change out the thermostate wafer but theres a little nut on the end that makes it too big!! I removed the nut and theres a threaded whatever in it so it wouldn't attach to the screw in the bator. I have a hovabator and every other wafer I have seen has the same nut. Do I need to special order them> thanks Crystal

you will need to get the wafer for the brand and model of your bater
