These 2 were found in a dumpster, any guesses?

They've clearly settled in quite nicely. The little one is much more cuddly than the bigger one but they both love being in my lap.

Going with Red sex link. My guess would be that someone got them from tractor supply which requires a purchase of six. And who ever bought them is probably only allowed 4 so got rid of two. It's a shame. A neighbor probably would have taken them. At least they are safe now.

Getting bigger!

Here they are at about 6/7 weeks old. The smaller one has a little bit bigger comb, but only barely.

Oh, wow! You should start a new thread just to keep us all updated on their progress. Who would dump chicks (or other living things) that way?! Thank you for taking them in. We have a cat we found in a box next to a dumpster...there were 3 kittens in there, we gave two to DHs parents and kept the other.
