I paid $10 for each I have 11 and was told that they were reds and americana's but now I'm being told that they aren't what I paid for does anybody have any idea what they are?? How to tell if they are roosters or chickens??
Is it okay to feed them bread?
they're still on chickstarter food I bought pellets and some of them could not and would not eat it.
when I got these chickens I had to that were just days old they almost died on me.
When will they start laying eggs there about 2 months right now keep in mind I'm in Washington State.
When can I stop giving them electrolytes?
They like to eat mealworms that I buy, what kind of table scraps can they eat?
If I have more than one rooster what do I do?
How can I tell if I have roosters and or chickens?
I have been using wood chips as their bedding when can I start using hay?
What is chicken scratch and what do I do with that?
I am apologizing for all of these stupid questions but I have no idea what I'm doing I'm just trying the best I can.
When the time comes how do I know if an egg has a baby in it or not?

I don't know which ones are which your naming off a bunch of these and I don't know which ones are what you're referring to.

Please don’t feed them bread, ever. When they’re older (as in not chicks) you can give them fresh, heathy table scraps like fruit & vegis & cooked eggs. If it’s rotten don’t give it to them. If it’s processed don’t give it too them.

If they aren’t stressed or sick you can take them off the electrolytes. Make sure they have fresh, clean water all the time.

My advice is to take one topic at a time & use the BYC search engine. You will find answers if you search for them.

Ok. The white bird with the big red wattles and comb. He is a White Rock. He is also male.
The red birds (brown and white). Those are sex links. They're likely the breed 'Golden Comet'. Google these breeds.
The remaining birds are Easter Eggers. You might get some green or blue eggs from them.
All are female except the White Rock and one Easter Egger.

I see one rooster. No, you can not feed them bread. They can eat most fruits and veggies but not all. You can stop giving them electrolytes whenever you want. You could start using hay at any age. Chickens also enjoy eating chicken scratch and black sunflower seeds.

I'm guessing the light brown ones are the Red Sexlinks, the white one with the very red comb is the White Rock, and all the others are Easter Eggers.
