Berry true yup i took out the new and just let them be.You worry tooooo much. Just think when a hen goes broody and incubates her own eggs. Non of those electronic gadgets whatsoever. And chicks hatch.

Dont sweat it. My first go around, I had 5 eggs in a homemade cardboard box, in my garage, with no hygrometer and one out of 4 eggs almost hatched until i attempted helping it unzip.i think temp has fo remain constant 99.5 etc for percent hatch rate..And even with that theres always one in batch with the blood ring
