So excited to be getting two pullets in a few weeks time when there about 13 weeks old. I have read there lovely natured chickens just hope they get on with my silkies (the same age)? Hope you enjoy the pictures as I did. The last one is with there dad. Any tips on this breed will be very welcome. Thanks for looking .

Thank you, I am new to keeping chickens so learning all the time. Just slowly introduced a silkie to two other silkies and must admit it made me sad to see them working out the pecking order.

I know what you mean about watching that...it's not easy and I've found myself giving them all a good talking to (like that does any good, lol). It's normal and it just has to happen though so as long as no blood is shed, it's ok (hard as it is to watch).

Wow! I have never seen those before, but they are very pretty. I hope you enjoy them.

I had a Mille fleur d'uccle before, but she had a severe leg problem that made her rather immobile. She lived just shy of a year. She was good natured, but very picky, probably because she could get away with it
