These two are baffling me (not a new phenom).

We keep staring at them trying to figure out their breed. The ones with white. I know not the best photos.

One is really whiteish. The other seems to be white, black and grey. She is about 13 weeks old. They are the smallest of their brood of welsummers and dixie rainbows.

Awwww man. I didn't know the rule!!!! 🤣🤣

Do the bunch - five for a breed try out. That's basically what I am doing now to learn and see what my chicken jam is. I suppose 2024 I will know which I really like. I think will be Orpington, Brahma and Cochin 🤔.

Curious about the cream legbar and green queen breeds for now.

I got the silkies basically for my toy chicken. But I'm sure with everything that is supposed to be happening in 2023 as far as food supply I will get over having toy chickens in favor of one that Supply eggs and meat with the quickness.
My Silkies lay every day when not broody. And they are THE best mamas!

Btw - Green Queens are hybrids. CCL is a breed. I love my CCL so far. Very cute with the silly hairdo and laid back personality. Looking forward to blue eggs! I got my first olive green eggs this past week from my Olive Egger!
