Yeah, i was in denial... ive had a feeling for weeks that i had two cockerels. My dominant Popeye, we are working on human respect, but he does a great job keeping everything in line. He hopped on my youngest daughter though and I about snapped his neck right then. Wondering if I cut down on the testosterone if he will calm a bit. He does good a lot of the time but can get a little too cocky. (Ha!). We will see if he gets to stick around much longer once we process a few tender birds! For now, I’ll let him do his job. Now I can’t figure why my Ayam Cemani (which is about 6 weeks younger) can crow and get away with it. Popeye never bothers with him. No dancing no nothing. But he is not aggressive whatsoever and very respectful. So maybe that’s why. Chickens are so interesting! Lol!
