Hi y’all! So I’m starting a little herd of cattle, and today we went and looked at 2 for our potentially first cattle, and sure enough.... we are coming home with a cow and her calf! We are getting more over the summer to join them, but we had to start somewhere. They are so cute and can’t wait to share this new adventure with you all!

This is the best picture I have right now, but hopefully I can get some better ones soon or tomorrow.

The mom was named little girl and we will probably keep it and the baby is a steer (named Sir Loin) lol
They are Dexters!

I’m not really 100% for sure, we will most likely raise heifers for milk and breeding and steers for meat. We have a heifer and bull calf coming next month too.
