Thank you do have pics of your hens you can post I would love to see them. Ours are so tame they wait for us to sit and all scramble to be first on our laps lol. That’s my lap while I’m trying to have my coffee in the yard lol

Chickens do this to build up a surplus of eggs quicker because they usually wont go broody without about 10 eggs saved up.

It's believed by some that's why they make the egg song. To let others know this is the spot.

Who knew chickens would be so much fun lol. I have coffee in the yard with my chicklets every morning. They call scramble on to my lap as soon as I sit down. It’s the best part of my day. Lol
