They are hatching!

Saturate a clean very thick sock with very warm water (100 degrees) put it in a dish. Very quicly put it in the bator. Open the lid just enough to get it in there and close it right back up. Quick, quick, quick! You should see the humidity start to rise within 10 min or less.

For geese in the last days keep it up near 85% - 90%. Once they pip they can take 2 days to come out of the eggs.

Good luck I just set Sebbie eggs this morning.

I managed to get my humidity up. After the first chick hatched i opened another vent and did not even think about it.

But now I can only see into a very small section of the windows because the rest is covered with water drops. So hopefully the rest will be okay.

What are you using to measure humidity? If you have condensation on the window that heavy your humidity is above 95%. You have to be careful if it gets too high too. Open a vent and let some out.

Miss Prissy, Please give me some advise on my post above. My fingers are not bloody yet but the nails are definatley gone!
