They arived from meyer hat hachery yesterday a few black sex links are slimy and have patches of feathers mising. they are much smaller than my rirs. is this a problem. should the bsxl have brown on thier face because some do and some dont

Slimy? Can't picture where they could be slimy at. Do you have pics? And yes...some BSL do have brown on them. The males will have the white dot on the head and the females will be pure black on the head and some brown on the chest possibly. When they get older they will have a lot of brown on the chest.

Sounds different to me. We always get our chicks from the feed store where we can see them before we buy
