They are laying again!

I have had one trooper of a pullet that laid all through the dark days of winter, yesterday, there were two eggs, spring is coming and we are on the uptick. I see combs are beginning to redden, more eggs are coming soon.

Breakfast is back in style, love this hobby!

I'm excited for my chickens to resume laying. My flock is rather old-5-7 years old so I added 7 new chicks. They have just turned 5 months old last week. Do you think they will start laying in the winter or will they wait until Spring?

@Chlady55 if they are 5 months old, I think they will start laying shortly. Are the combs red? Are the pelvic bones 2 fingers apart? Are they squatting?

They are not squatting yet but their combs are red. I have no idea about their pelvic bones!
