They are pipping nowHelp! I forgot to add water the last 3 days.

I feel stupid I did not add the extra water to increase the humidity. I have a few pipping now the're not due til tomorrow. What if I mist the eggs with water I have heard people doing this to soften the shell at hatch time. Any suggestions ? Thanks, Brian

You can add water now, but it doesn't soften the shell, just the membrane. I find after 21 days that the shell is pretty brittle.

I think I'd get some warm water and quickly add it to the incubator if your humidity reading is too low.

I agree add water now. It will help to keep the membrane moist as they pip and zip...
