They Are Starting To Hatch *PICS*

well 9 have hatched so far i believe it is 6 whites, 2 splash and one black 2 of the whites could be buff but want know for sure till they fluff out and i can take them out and then look at the eggs to see which ones have hatched. i am now waiting on 24 more to hatch. it is hard right now to take any pictures due to the humidity fogging up the windows in the incubator but as soon as i can i will post pictures

I only have 4 more to wait for and I can't believe you have to wait through 24 more. WOW!! Congrats on the new fluffy butts!!!!

we have 17 to hatch so far out of 33 we have 5 more with pips and we are only 5 hrs into day 21

Both of mine hatched out! I dropped + cracked one on day 18, but it hatched out ok. Guess the fourth time is the charm!

well we now have 22 that have hatched out of 33 so far with at least 5 more with pips in the eggs and we have 13 hrs before the start of day 22 so there is time for the other 6 that has not piped yet to pip. will post pictures later if i can get a good picture of them in the incubator since i am not taking them out untill after day 22 starts to make sure the others do not get messed up and to make sure that they all dry and fluff out real good

well we have 28 chicks so far out of 33 would of been 29 but the painted chick died not long after it zipped it was still in the egg it was zipped half way i wonder if i shrinked wrapped it the membrane was white and started to turn yellow it seemed to still feel wet a little. i hadt to open the incubator twice for about 10 seconds each because i had a chick that half the shell was gone but the membrane was intact and the chick was moving and chirping so i had to tear the membrane. could i have killed the little painted one my only pained one my daughter is going to be so upset. also one of the 28 for some reason will not stand up on its feet and it lays there with its wings out getting stepped on. Oh a good note i got at least 28 silkies out of it so far.
