After having my chicks for a few weeks now and dealing with the nightly struggle of herding, begging, bribing and finally just picking them up to get them back and secure in their Cozy coop - they FINALLY became "big girls" and put THEMSELVES to bed tonight....I am SOOO proud of them! Now, if I could only get them to use the two tier roost that the DH sweated over building in the summer sun the other day. We see them on it in the morning when we got out to release them to free range, but never at night yet.......we'll just keep working on it I guess. Tonight's success is enough to keep me happy and excited/contented for a few weeks!
