Maybe try telling them that it could cause problems or you can take over your dogs' feeding schedules. :) Why would they overfeed if it costs more and also has a negative effect on the dog?:rolleyes:

Now you have some good advice on ways to handle the situation though. Try to take charge of feeding and exercising. Most parents would be proud to let their children care for their pets. My 6 year old is in charge of feeding the ducks and chickens and gathering eggs. She feeds twice a day.

You can do that with your dog and pig. Tell your parents you want more responsibility with them. Smaller portions, twice a day, more exercise.
 
They barely eat but when they do, it's a bowl each witch is 2 cups each.
Oh right I forgot to mention 😅 they eat through out the day, so they eat two cups a day, not each meal. They chose to eat, and normally eat at night, they seem embarrassed to eat in front of people! Lol 😆
