They die during lockdown

I'm on my 2nd try both times eggs looked great until lockdown I've only had 1 pip through shell none made it before lockdown they all had movement and looked healthy any ideas of what I'm doing wrong this 2nd time i went with dry incubation and the air cells looked great I'm very good about sterilizing to I have 4 egg going into lockdown in 4 days this 1 egg was due yesterday temps are good humidity at 65 % I use a separate incubator for hatching both forced air and temps the same only hangs humidity for hatcher

I suggest you look through this link and see if you can figure it out. There are several possible causes, I don’t know which might apply to you.

Possible reasons I didn’t see mentioned is improper turning/positioning. If the eggs are not turned during the first couple of weeks of incubation, or possibly when they are stored if they are stored long, you can have problems with them pipping and hatching. If they are stored or incubated up-side-down the air cell may not be where it is supposed to be which can cause problems. Usually storage isn’t going to cause this consistent an issue with either of these but during incubation they can.

Have you calibrated your thermometer? How sure are you the temperature is correct in the hatcher? The thermometers that come with the incubators are tremendously unreliable. The ones you buy can be off significantly.

I have an automatic egg turner and all the eggs were small side down the temp in the archer s up to 101 down to 98 back and forth
