They grow so fast

I'm going to check some photos I have of her from a couple of months ago .. but I just noticed yesterday .. she seems to be eating ok .. I wish I could take her home she is a sweetheart she lives at the retention pond near my house .. the water is filthy & everyday I bring them treats & fresh water & look after them . I wish I could get them adopted out to a good home , she has bonded with 2 drakes and I would need them to stay together.. the property manager said I could remove them because he wants to get rid of them , i asked him to let me find them a good home . They are sweet tempered, the drakes are like dogs with wings . They have never been aggressive & they like human company & will eat out of hands also good with children .. if you anyone who are looking for muscovies I know they would love to go to a caring home .. I feel sorry for them , I wish I had my own land I would take them all home with me ..

That’s sad they probably were someone’s ducks at one time. I sure wish I knew of someone. You might go on the Florida forum and ask there. It’s at “where am I where are you”.

I pray for them every night that God keeps those little Angel's safe .. a month ago the 4 hens at the pond each had a clutch of ducklings & within 2 days all those babies were gone . I literally cried my eyes out watching the mama's stand at the edge of the pond hoping at least 1 of their babies would come back . I just found out yesterday that the blue herons love dining on ducklings, I thought it was the turtles all this time .. I thought the blue herons were gentle & kind birds & now I learned the hard way & understand why the herons were so close to the mama & her babies
