I wish I could say I could stop myself but I can't...lol. I have eggs in 2 bators and three 10 day old chicks in another brooder.

I also have more eggs coming....but they aren't for me they are for my son.

OMG, I was just noticing how big my girls got in one week, but yours look like GIANTS!

I guess I'm lucky that I only have 9, so they won't be too crowded in the brooder... As if I weren't already taking pictures nearly every day, but this really inspires me to document their growth at one week intervals, so I can look back on them.

The thing that put it all in perspective was looking at how large they are compared to the red plastic feeder.

Here's a picture of my girls one week after I got them (so they are probably 1 week and 5 days old now.)

They are out growing their box. It is good sized... I could lay down in it.

The biggest of the lot is a cockerel from my blue orp rooster over my buff orp hen. He is huge !!! He flies up to perch on the side when he sees me so he gets petted. They're 5 wks old now. I took the pics a couple days ago.

Here he is

Here he is next to a pullet from the same combo hatched the same day..
