When I got my call that my chicks were in, the associate told me to bring Apolonia in and check if it is indeed a roo. He checked for saddle feathers etc. and told me to wait another 4 weeks as he has see BA hens have larger wattles and combs then some roos. Still up in the air what Appy is. I will be sad if Apolonia turns out to be an Apollo as I have become attached to my girls already. We shall see in 4 weeks whether or not Appy is a keeper. If not, the associate said they would buy it from me and make sure it goes to a home that wants a pet and not dinner.
Will keep everyone posted. Appy is a sweet bird. Will sit in my lap and purr when I pet her. None of the girls even peck each other..maybe occasionally but they like to cuddle up with each other.
