They grow up so fast!

We've named them now--I didn't want to until I was sure they'd make it through the first week--and they're getting huge! Especially the Cochin.

Adrienne now (at about 3.5 weeks)--look at that little beard!

Sylvia now: her foot feathers are really coming in!

And even big chicks need naps...

I cant bring myself to name mine because I know I will eat them at some point. Probably not the sumatra though, he wouldnt make a chicken nugget.

The DO grow up fast, i guess thats why people eat them, but i think i'd rather have a friend than a meal

my problem is I cant get new chicks until I thin the flock a bit, plus farm raised chicken is awsome. I still spoil them though, yesterday I spent 2 hours picking wild berries and I gave them all the ones that were almost ripe.
