They grow up so fast!

I can't believe how quickly my baby girl is growing up - Today was her first day of employment at a local sheep farm. It seems like just yesterday I was driving her and Momma home from the hospital for the first time! She was very excited to be working with animals - they have sheep, herding dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, a minature pony and of course the ever present farm cats!
Here is a picture of her before we took her to the farm - You got to love a girl who brings style to farm chores - check out her slop boots - mine were always black! LOL

She is a pretty girl. She looks excited too!

You are right they do grow up too fast. Mine is graduating the 8th grade next week and starting Drivers Ed the week after that!

She came home after 3 hours of good o'l farm labor and was still sporting the same smile! Now if I could only get her to be as enthusiastic about doing her chores here at home!

So glad to hear she's having fun.

and i know...mine just graduated kindergarten tonight...sigh. She asked me if i was gonna cry and I said i don't know and asked her why she thought i'd cry and she said, "cuz you want me to stay little."

and i smiled and kissed her night and said she was right.

Last night she went to the mall and purchased some things she had been wanting - and did it with her OWN money! (she even saved some of it and put it in the bank - I am truly the worlds proudest father.
