They hate them!

I cannot get our two hens to accept our two 4 week old ducks!

Our other two ducks are taking to them fairly well... but the chickens, nope. When I open the little fencing between them the chickens turn into ninjas, jumping on them, ripping fluff/feathers out with their feet and pecking it out. Sending the babies into a screaming running panic.

Our other two ducks will fly over the fencing through to visit, ect.

Is there any tricks? Tips?

Oooh, almost like clock work I should have waited to post this until later today!

I just had this feeling today was the day so I completely cut down the fence and moved it. So the run is one run again. Everyone seems to be leaving the babies alone now. YAY!

It has been a couple hours and the only thing that is happening is a little charging but once the babies move the chickens ignore them. Everyone is out laying down now and sleeping.

YAY! I hope it stays this way.

Whelp two days of love has turned into a third day of attacking. Any moment they see the 4 weekers. I haven't blocked it off yet though (again) because the little ones have somewhere to hide the big ones can't get into.
