They Have A New Feeder/My Chicken Engineer Is Wonderful

We will fill it from the outside from a pvc pipe that runs into into it. I will take pics of the outside as soon as the rain stops. As soon as we got it up the rain started. (wouldn't ya know)!

Let us know how the birds like it and how it performs. I always like to know if the feeder design prevents waste (birds knocking, kicking, scratching food out of the feeder). Look forward to seeing the outside pics as well.

I would think the tray is a little wide, but it looks like it will work.

Have they tried to get ontop of it and scratch it out? Because it looks like they could.

I would probably add some sort of baffle at the bottom so they can't bill out from the bottom of the supply box or put some large rocks in the feed bin area so that they have to eat around the rocks, less space to get in and start chucking it out.

How is it refilled? I did not notice a lid or door to reload it.
