I was hanging some suet feeders outside for the birds when I thought about my chickens and figured they might like some, as well. I put a new feeder with berry suet in for them. They cautiously walked up to this new contraption and ever so slowly got closer. One of them did the quickest peck in history at the suet and from there it was all over. They all started pecking at it and nice little happy chirps could be heard from all

I got them at the feed store and the ingredients are rendered beef suet, corn, milo, wheat, millet sunflower seeds and berry. They pecked at it for about 5 minutes and then I removed it. Being suet, I didn't want them to get too much fat in their diet.
