They love their peat moss in a saucer!

One week and they love to take dust baths & sleep in their saucer of peat moss! It keeps the poop dried up too. Yes, they all learned to drink from the rabbit water bottle.

too cute. i didnt think to do that with my girls when they were still in the brooder. theyre 8 weeks old now and outside and i have yet to have the joy of witnessing a dust bath. maybe i have sissy chickens that dont like being dirty girls =X

That is too cute! I wish I had thought of that too. My girls loved to bathe in their wood shavings and then pellets but I've yet to see them do it outside. Maybe mine have turned prissy too
